After earning her Master’s in Rhetoric and Composition from Sonoma State University, Melissa built an impressive career collaborating with esteemed wine publications and organizations, including Wine Country This Month, SommSelect, Feast it Forward, and the Sonoma County Winegrowers. She later served as Deputy Editor at Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate, the world’s most influential wine review publication, where she also contributed to the Wine Journal on robertparker.com. Her expertise extends to prior consulting for local media agencies Good Things Done Right and Studio 707.
Melissa holds a Bachelor’s in English, a Master’s in Rhetoric and Composition, a WSET Advanced Level III Certification from Napa Valley Wine Academy, and a California Wine Appellation Specialist Certification from San Francisco Wine School.
